SHIPPING POLICY
This website is owned and operated by Alien Jeans LLC (the “Company”, “us” or “we”). These Shipping Policy must be be considered as part of our Terms of Service and constitute an agreement between the Company and you, the user.
Alien Jeans LLC ships products from Colombia through various shipping companies like FedEx and DHL, which guarantee the security and delivery of your order. Remember that it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to provide an exact address which we will transmit in full to the freight company. If you do not indicate a correct address, your order may not arrive or may present significant delays.
All orders over $120 are free to the 48 continental U.S. States. Not valid for international delivery addresses or Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, P.O. Boxes, and APO/FPO addresses. Shipping addresses cannot be changed. We will only ship to the shipping address entered when the order was originally placed.
To make sure your order arrives smoothly, we do not ship to PO Boxes. Please use a physical address when placing your order.
ORDER HANDLING AND DELIVERY
We call order handling time the period we take to prepare your order(s) and delivery time the period it takes the freight company to deliver your order(s). The preparation time for your order can be from 1 to 3 days, however we reserve the right to modify this period. Standard delivery usually arrives within 4-9 business days from the shipped date, excluding holidays.
Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO addresses: Standard delivery usually arrives within 10-20 business days from the shipped date, excluding holidays.
Keep in mind that delivery time does NOT depend on us but on the individual conditions of each freight company and/or the conditions established by the final destination of the order (weather, location, public order, etc.). Any hour indicated corresponds to time in US territory. The delivery time of your order(s) may also be affected by “curfews”, quarantines, mobility restrictions or closures decreed by local or federal authorities.
The order handling time of your order begins to count from the approval of the payment, which will occur once the financial institution or other entity responsible for the payment method used confirms the availability of the money in our account; Alien Jeans LLC does NOT have any type of control over these times, which may be extended at the discretion of the Payment Platform.
At the time of payment approval, you will receive an email with confirmation of the payment. To check the status of your purchase, you can enter to “My Profile” section in the top menu on our website. If we are unable to process your order due to inaccurate or incomplete payment information, your order processing may be delayed an additional business day.
For the purposes of calculating delivery times, the date and time of payment approval must be taken into account as follows:
If the purchase is confirmed before 3 p.m. From Monday to Friday, the second business day corresponds to the day after you made the purchase and from that day the shipping time will begin to count.
If the purchase is confirmed after 3 p.m., the delivery time will begin counting from the third business day following the payment confirmation.
If you made a purchase on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, delivery time will start counting from the next business day of payment confirmation.
The freight company through which Alien Jeans LLC ships your products does not promise to make deliveries on an exact schedule. If you have any concerns about the delivery time of the product, we can mediate with the freight company, to do so, send us a message through the contact form.
The product may be received or inspected by any person of legal age who lives or is present at the place of delivery, for which the signature of the carrier’s guide will be sufficient.
If the product(s) has signs of damage or breaks in its packaging, at the time of delivery you must reject it and record it in the carrier’s guide as a signed observation. Next you must contact us to help you resolve the situation. In the event that the product(s) are not delivered or the package is incomplete, you must contact us.
During “Black Friday”, “Cyber Monday”, Christmas and holidays, delivery times may increase significantly and are subject to availability. Any delivery time shown on this page, on social networks or in any type of advertising corresponds to an estimated time and NOT a strict commitment on our part. We do our best to ensure the timely delivery of all orders. When selecting our expedited shipping options, please bear in mind that we are only provided with an estimated delivery date from our carriers. On rare occasions, these packages can arrive outside the estimated timeframe.
SHIPPING PRICE
The shipping price of the purchase is determined in each particular case depending on the destination, weight and volume of the package. This value will be calculated in the purchase process and will be informed at the time of order summary, before you make payment.
Without prejudice to the above, Alien Jeans LLC. Reserves the right to modify the shipping cost; this value will be announced prior to the customer’s acceptance of the order. Non-acceptance of the shipping cost will be considered a unilateral reason for the termination of the sales contract between Alien Jeans LLC. and the client.
Products with promotional prices DO NOT apply for any free shipping benefit. We reserve the right to revoke the free shipping benefit at any time without prior notice.
SHIPPING COMPANY
When shipping the product, we will send you an email / SMS with information about the shipping company and the tracking number so that you can follow it. The tracking of your order(s) is carried out on a website owned by a third party over which we do not have any type of control, for this reason we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information displayed there or any action carried out on these sites by you or by third parties.
DISCLAIMER
The Company is not responsible for stolen packages. Please confirm your address before submitting your order.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We ask that all international customers take note of your own tracking information and receipt as we won't be able to guarantee tracking information as we do not receive real-time updates from international carriers. Please be aware of your local delivery provider guidelines.
Some packages may be delivered directly or to your location’s customs. Please keep track as you may be responsible for picking up your package. If your package exceeds the length of time at customs or if you fail to pay the custom fees, the package will be sent back to our facility. We will gladly re-ship you the package for a re-shipment fee. If we receive your package and you do not wish to pay the re-shipment fee, we will gladly issue you store credit to shop for future styles. ( excluding original shipping fee).
TAXES AND DUTIES
International orders may be subject to local taxes, customs, duties, and fees levied by the destination country as import fees. Shipping costs, and delivery times on international orders vary throughout each destination. We are not responsible for local fee taxes, customs, duties, or fees associated with international delivery. Customers are held responsible for the duties and taxes. We have no control over the amount charged regarding duties or taxes a package on each package. This is decided upon by your countries import and customs laws.
